Dales was recommended by a friend who said they were the best, most dependable and honest wrench in the Quad Cities. This is my first time needing a mechanic since moving here, and I’m loyal to those who treat me well. My go-to mechanic of 15 years is 1500 miles away now, so change is imminent. I took my truck in because my brake light came on. Super friendly on the phone, and just as friendly and professional in person left me at ease. They even drove me home, as I would have to leave my truck for diagnosing the issue. A couple of hours went by and the phone call... Full brake pad and rotors replacement to the tune of 1300! Ouch...ouch....Christmas (3 kids) not the news I wanted at the most expensive time of the year. I asked if that was as economical of deal as I could get on the work I needed. Chad explained that there was a cheaper option, but brakes are important and the warranty and quality of the better option was absolutely worth every penny. I told him to let me think on it ( secret code for “I’m going to shop around to keep you honest”). I made 3 phone calls to competitors, was not treated with as much professionalism as Dales, and the prices were all in the $1200 to $1400 range. Touché Chad! So much for me being sneaky (cheap). I called Chad back and said “Do the good’ns!” Chad said they would have my truck done the next day, and thanked me for my business. The following day I received labeled pictures of what they took off and what they were putting on ( full disclosure) They said they were going to be finished shortly so a phone call was to be expected. Shortly there after my truck was ready. Entering Dales I was once again greeted, but this time they knew my name. Expecting the bill to be $1300 or more, my cheap hand trembled as I reached for my wallet. $1080 Chad said...”It turned out a little less than we thought.” Excuse me? What did you say? Less? Hath hell frozen over? Great business. Great people. If you are looking for a honest and a true ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ wrench...Dales is it. Don’t let the fact that they don’t have windows on their building sway you from coming here....your Doctors office doesn’t have windows either.....and your Dr probably isn’t as honest as these guys. 👍

Great service, friendly people. Awesome that you get a link to the diagnostics of their inspection along with pictures and descriptions pinpointing the specific problems with your vehicle. They even covered me on my bill when i was a few dollars short! Downside: Inspection was somewhat expensive than typical. Otherwise would recommend: 12/10 rating

Extremely nice, very honest and professional. They did excellent work on my Jeep. They told me that it would be a couple of days, because they had to order a part I needed from out of town. My part was delivered earlier than expected and they worked diligently to get my Jeep fixed. I was able to get my Jeep back a day earlier than I was expecting. They went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work they did. I'm extremely grateful and when I need additional repair work I will be going back.

They are always so amazing at getting us in as soon as possible and are very accommodating to our busy schedule. They’ve helped us out so much with all of our cars and past ones and helped us find a new one that was in good condition so we wouldn’t have to worry about having to pays tons of money to fix issues that were there when we bought it. Also they were able to get me in the same day I called to change my headlight that was out which is so amazing! And if you have to leave your car there for they day they always try their best in making sure they will have a car available that day. This is the only place I’ll take my car! I trust them emensly! I highly recommend taking your car here
