I am sure they are a great auto mechanic to go to for many of the locals, but it isn't worth going if you just bought a used car and not ready to spend thousands on a mechanic bill. A great place to spend your hard earned cash if you have money and have plenty of it to burn. Almost 3000 to repair my steering pump and tie rod while the guy doesn't make any eye contact with me while telling me how much it'll all cost on their computer screen you can't see. They have financial plans available if you can't pay all up front, but it all depends on your working class, trust within yourself and remembering where you are if you are able to or not. Maybe everything is premium, brand new and would take days to get it out of the shop by the expert staff to ensure it was done right and tested so your vehicle is safe for the road. However, this place is just out of my price range as many are having hard times with money at the moment. Maybe I would go back for an oil change if it didn't cost almost 200 to do. If you are short on funds, have a vehicle that you don't expect to have for very long and want service done quick at that moment, this is not the mechanic to go to, but if you have no where else to turn to and have the money to do so, get service done there then. Never forget though, the best way to get your car fixed is to learn to do it yourself if you are confident enough to do so. -UPDATE: Decided to give this place another shot. It is still expensive, but those I've talked to recommended I go back and try again with repairs I am unable to do myself. Brought it in today, received an estimate going over the charges for the repairs I need done. Decent with financial solutions while registering with Snap Finance. If the repairs take longer than expected, they offer a loaner vehicle upon request. It is free as long as you keep the car clean and the fuel topped off when bringing it back. I shall continue editing this review once my car is fixed and back with me.

Cost was a bit higher than I had hoped, but they did an excellent job and were very thorough. Communication was also very good

Quick, easy and a streamlined procedure. I really enjoyed the ease of requesting the car work to be done and the thoroughness of the process. Not being a car guy myself it really allowed me to understand what was taking place so I was left with no uncertainty. I will definitely be back.

The team was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Service offered was professional, timely and they even went beyond inspecting if my vehicle had any other issues unrelated to the problem I had. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

The team at Dale’s was quick, honest and helpful. Took my car in for an issue with my headlights and for their free safety inspection, and when they found out there was a problem with my transmission, they offered to keep the car for another day and fix it instead of making me schedule another appointment. They were also very respectful and helped me to understand my cars issues instead of being condescending- a tip other mechanics could learn from! All in all, I can’t think of any reason I would go to a different mechanic in the Quad Cities. Given that I drive a Wrangler, I’ll inevitably be back in the near future!
